You are invited to submit your application to be part of the 2016 Sunflower Artfest to be held on:

Entry Deadline/Jury Fee:$25.00 due Monday, June 20th. Late fee: Extra $25.00.

 Please submit three (3) JPEG samples of your work and/or identify your website address.

(Artist name and images may be used for publicity purposes.)

Artist Notification/Registration Form: Emailed to you June 24, 2016.

You may participate in one or all of the following three categories.

†Booths/ Fee: $125.00  (upon acceptance, fee is due Mon., July 25th)

Art work and Fine Crafts in the booth must be original or hand-made by artist. All art mediums will be considered. Most subject matter accepted except nudity/suggestive material as this is a family-oriented show.

†Sunflower Exhibit Entry/Fee: $25.00 for up to three (3) entries. MUST be sunflower themed!

Sunflower Exhibit First Place becomes our Sunflower Artfest 2017 Poster and is used for promotional material.

(The De Soto Arts Council reserves the right to make additional selections for promotional materials.)

Art must be labeled and hung/set up in The Barn, Fri., Sept. 23, from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m.

No saw tooth hangers. Please provide your own table/display backdrops for 3D art work. 

†Plein Air Entry/Fee: $25.00. Must be crafted on the premises of The Barn at Kill Creek Farm – Friday a.m.

 

Set up: 10 x 10 Artist Booth Display Area:  Provide your own tent and all items for your display.

Tent set-up: Thursday or Friday. Must be ready by NOON Friday for judging.

(Security provided Friday and Saturday nights but NOT Thursday night.)

Lunch provided Saturday for participating artists and vendors. 

 

Awards: Cash award of $100.00in each of these categories: Plein Air, 2D, 3D, Photography, Fine Crafts and Booth Display. Sunflower Exhibit: Cash awards: $100.0 for 1st place, $75.00 for 2nd and $50.00 for 3rd.

 

*Reception/Dinner: Fri., Sept. 23rd, 4 p.m. -5p.m. for patrons, sponsors and artists. Each artist may bring one guest. Show is open to the public from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
